Something to remember!

We recently came across a situation where the homeowners had been away for an extended vacation. During that time the water pipes burst which caused extensive damage throughout the home. Because the home owner had failed to notify the insurance company, their claim was denied. So remember, if you are going away in the near future make sure to notify your insurer. Also, not a bad idea to have someone drop by periodically to check the place out and keep a log of when they dropped in. Hope no one else I know ever has this problem again.
